Get away from the cold, come to Sevilla! Young girls at the feria

With average maximum temperatures of 17 degrees Celsius (63 Fahrenheit) in January and February, Sevilla is an excellent destination to escape the cold.

The vibrant colours of the city and its passion for life make Sevilla an unique destination to learn Spanish. It will not take you long to discover that Sevilla is much more than Flamenco and offers something special for every age and interest!

Our school manager Amy will do everything she can to make you feel comfortable and ensure that your stay with us is an unforgettable one. The quality of your Spanish course is in the very capable hands of our "jefa de estudios" Ana who will see to it that you progress as quickly as possible learning Spanish.

So think about Sevilla the next time you put on your scarf and winter coat: you're just one enrolment away from enjoying life and learning Spanish in the south of Spain!

Update Film Script Prize

    prize

We're still receiving your excellent ideas for a film script (see our previous newsletter for details) so we will announce the winner early 2007!

If you are still working on yours, send it to us no later than by the end of this month.

Buenos....?

When to say What during the day Greeting

As you get up in the morning, stretch yourself and try to find your way into the new day, you'll be greeted by "buenos días" by those who you meet.

As the day goes on you'll find that the greeting changes to "buenas tardes" and at some point in the evening this changes to "buenas noches".

But when exactly do you change the greeting?

The answer is simple: before lunch time, you use the "buenos días" greeting. After lunch time but before dinner you use "buenas tardes" and after dinner you switch to "buenas noches".

So it is not the exact time (as before or after midday) but when you and the locals have eaten that determines the greeting!
