¿Qué es
tu lugar favorito en Buenos Aires? |

‘Pues,
no tengo un lugar favorito en Buenos Aires. Me parece que Buenos Aires es la
imagen de la población, con una gran diversidad de los orígenes : europeos
y de America Latina.
Por eso, hay muchos lugares y barrios muy interesantes. Por ejemplo, San
Telmo es un lugar típico de la colonización española con casas viejas.
Tienes que ir el domingo para ver la máxima animación con tango, pintores,
anticuarios... Recoleta es un lugar con muchas tiendas. Algunas calles y
edificos son como en Paris, por ejemplo boulevard Haussman. Además, está la
plaza Francia. En Palermo, el barrio más grande de la capital federal, hay
muchos parques lindos, restaurantes modernos y barrios de moda.’ |

vives? |

‘Vivo
en un hostal muy lindo que se llama KOCALAN, está en el centro de Buenos
Aires y hay únicamente gente de Argentina. Los estudiantes de este hostal
proceden de diferentes provincias. Por eso, es muy interesante intercambiar
nuestras experiencias : maneras de vivir, comidas, anécdotas, viajes,
historia... Tengo una habitación para mí solo. Las diez personas que están
aquí son muy respetuosas. KOCALAN pertenece a dos franceses extremadamente
amables. A 1 cuadra (100 metros) está Abastos, la tienda más vieja de la
capital : una multitud de tiendas, cines, restaurantes... y el supermercado
Cotto. Subte, colectivos están a 1 cuadra también para ir a todas partes de
la ciudad.' |

They speak Spanish in Spain and they speak Spanish in Argentina. BUT,
there can be big differences in vocabulary and expressions.
For example, the often used verb ‘coger in Spain means "to take" or "to
grab" but you'd be very careful to use this in Argentina since it takes on
the meaning of a well known English vulgar verb of four letters starting
with an "f"...
