Having just traveled to Buenos Aires, I highly recommend for those who have an iPhone to download the Time Out Buenos Aires app. It is a free app and offers great information by district, activity, cuisine etc. which really helps you to navigate the city.
You can use it in offline mode too whilst still using the GPS driven map feature which saves you on roaming charges. Really cool and one of the best travel apps I have seen. It makes it much easier to enjoy Buenos Aires.
